Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Responsible for the creation of detailed product specifications.
  • Carry out research into market trends, customer requirements and benchmarking to identify future opportunities
  • Analyse sales data to inform new product development to make sure product is viable in terms of cost, profit, and time
  • Assist in presenting at sales meetings and product sign off.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, and manufacturers to refine designs and source materials.
  • Manage the sampling process and coordinate fabric testing.
  • Assist Marketing with technical support and ensure it is delivered in line with the launch plan.

Skills and Experience needed:

  • A degree in fashion and textiles would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within a similar product designer role would be beneficial
  • You must possess both a creative flair and technical curiosity.
  • Experience of Adobe design package, especially Adobe Illustrator for garment flat CADs.
  • Knowledge of textile performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate with global team.
  • Skilled in coordinating multiple projects running alongside each other and attention to detail to look for process efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
