About the Role:

Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic Mixed Humanities Teacher with a specialisation in Religious Education (RE) to join a well-respected secondary school in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) to become an integral part of a supportive and dynamic teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across a range of Humanities subjects, including Religious Education (RE).
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to a diverse range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the Humanities department, sharing best practices and resources with colleagues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong academic background in Humanities and RE.
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level, with a particular focus on Religious Education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
