VGC Group Lowestoft are delighted to be recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for our Client based in Beccles, Suffolk.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will:

*Collaborate with colleagues to produce electrical layouts for automated machinery.
*Produce electrical designs that are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations and procedures.
*Ensure designs eliminate any hazards which may give rise to risks, reducing risks from any remaining hazards.
*Produce Electrical Parts Lists/Bills of Materials, for all electrical and pneumatic aspects of a project.
*Be apart of regular meetings with different teams to understand the requirements of the projects.

The successful candidate will have:

*Degree level or vocational training/apprenticeship in electrical and or mechanical disciplines.
*Conversant in the use of AutoCAD and skilled with EPlan software.
*Electrical, pneumatics and mechanical experience, ideally within the automation industry but not essential.
*Programming experience (desirable)
*Problem solving abilities.
*Able to work on their own initiative.
*Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
*Great verbal and written communication skills.
