As a Senior Ecologist, you'll lead and manage ecological projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients in the private sector, local authorities, and government bodies. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting ecological surveys, impact assessments, and site works (e.g., Phase 1 habitat surveys, protected species assessments).
- Advising clients on ecological considerations in planning and development.
- Developing innovative solutions to balance development and biodiversity.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff.
- Proven experience in ecological consultancy and project management.
- Expertise in UK wildlife, habitats, and legislation.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
