A Special School in Yateley are looking to recruit four Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated and passionate team of support staff.

This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for supporting students’ social, emotional and mental health needs, supporting with individual learning plans, setting targets for individual learners and developing positive relationships with students to further benefit their progress and attainment.You will also be responsible to assisting the Class Teacher with day to day duties including producing teaching aids, assisting with pupil behaviour and recording student progress.

Person specification:

  • A passion for inclusive education
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and to partake in continued professional development
  • Knowledge of special educational needs
  • Previous experience working with children in a similar role or another setting
  • A pass grade in GCSE Maths and English

£18,000 - £24,000 FTE dependent on experience + SEN Allowance.Monday to Thursday 8.30-4pm and Friday 8.30-1.30pm, 32 weeks per academic year.
