HR AdvisorYeovil£32 -36,000

Our client who has a strong presence in the South West, with growth as a continuous focus, the company is now looking for a HR Advisor to join their team.

As an HR Advisor, you'll report directly to the Group HR Manager, providing crucial generalist HR support and guidance to managers and colleagues. This role is varied and demanding, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance on company policies, employment terms, and legislative requirements
  • Manage the monthly payroll process
  • Lead recruitment activities to attract top talent
  • Handle employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Oversee on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including documentation for new starters and leavers
  • Address HR-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Conduct induction sessions for new employees
  • Manage sickness absences, including occupational health referrals
  • Coach and empower line managers on HR practices
  • Handle general HR administration tasks

The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of HR principles and legislation. CIPD Level 3 qualification is required, and experience in recruitment and complex employee relations cases is preferred. Payroll experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
