Location: York

We are recruiting for an experienced General Manager from a quality small hotels background to lead a stunning boutique hotel operation with a busy food and beverage department.With a five-star service, this role will oversee all departments and HODs to ensure an exceptional guest service is delivered alongside a smooth-running business operation.

The desirable candidate will have a strong Food & Beverage background and hotel General Manager experience in a quality operation.

The role;

  • Oversee all departments and HODs of this high-quality hotel operation with a key focus on ensuring the highest standards of service is delivered to all guests.
  • Lead the business in achieving the business goals, offer strategic input, sales, forecasts and profit and loss controls.
  • Lead the training plans, team development and coaching of department managers to ensure excellent knowledge and exceptional service and standards.
  • Key focus on food and beverage supporting this department to ensure a quality service is delivered.

The Candidate:

Experience as a General Manager within the hotels sector. Ideally you will have experience leading small high-quality hotels

A strong food and beverage background is essential

Experience working in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment

A strong work ethic, and strong leadership skills are essential.
