Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Role Overview

As the Assistant General Manager, you will work alongside the assistant General Manager to lead, inspire, and empower a skilled team to deliver outstanding service and experiences. In this role, youll set the example for excellence, addressing issues proactively, engaging customers with unique and memorable events, and ensuring that all activities and food and beverage operations meet compliance standards. Your leadership style will be marked by creativity, courage, and collaboration as you bring fresh ideas and continually enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture that embodies the companys values by maintaining high standards in customer service, delivering engaging events, and upholding safety in a clean, secure environment.
  • Lead and develop junior managers through recruitment, training, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Support the financial and operational performance of the site, focusing on profitability and commercial growth.
  • Set and uphold exemplary standards of customer engagement, ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable and positive experience.
  • Take accountability for team performance, including managing employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • Work with the General Manager on budget controls, purchasing efficiencies, and maintaining profitability margins.
  • Ensure consistent health and safety compliance, successfully passing all audits.
  • Oversee food and beverage operations, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage KPIs effectively to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ensure that events are well-promoted, fully booked, and executed smoothly by the entire team.
  • Organize and deliver seamless parties, creating lasting memories for guests.
  • Build positive relationships with peers to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal procedures, industry standards, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
