Personal Assistant/AdministratorLocation: Home-based (Harrogate/York)Salary: £32,000+ DOE

Company Overview:Join a well-established, family-run business that has been a leader in the seafood market for years. With a reputation for quality and innovation, we operate across the UK and internationally, supplying premium products to the market. We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Administrator to support our growing team with general administrative and sales functions, ensuring smooth operations within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive PA support to Senior Management
  • Perform general administrative duties, including managing schedules, emails, and handling confidential information
  • Assist with sales support tasks such as raising the appropriate PO’s, maintaining systems, and coordinating with clients
  • Raise purchase orders in a timely manner, manage supplier relationships, and ensure well-timed deliveries
  • Liaise with both internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations
  • Travel coordination for trade exhibitions across the UK, Europe, America, and Turkey
  • To attend ad-hoc meetings with suppliers/existing clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a PA or administrative role, ideally within the food industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work from home but willing to visit the office on an ad-hoc basis
  • Willingness to travel for exhibitions and business trips
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to working hours

Location:This is a home-based role, but you will be required to visit the office occasionally, so candidates based in Harrogate, York, Ripon or surrounding areas are ideal.
