Location: York and surrounding areas
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the Role:
Are you ready to join our small and friendly team in the heart of North Yorkshire and make your mark on some interesting construction projects?
Here at CG Building and Restoration Ltd, we are looking to employ a local, experienced Building Estimator to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately price building works, labour, plant, and materials
- Work closely with our team to ensure project estimates are realistic and achievable
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results
About Our Projects:
- Predominantly private residential building projects, including extensions, renovations, new builds, and some conservation heritage works
- Projects Value: 250k to 3M
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Building Estimator or experience of pricing building works from foundations upwards
- A knowledge of the supply chain in and around York, Leeds & North Yorkshire to secure competitive pricing
- Extensive experience in the building industry, with a track record of pricing projects accurately
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a small team
- Must be able to handle multiple estimates simultaneously
- Proficiency in using Conquest estimating software (training can be provided)
