Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required to join leading civil engineering contractor for civil engineering on project in the York area. The Quantity Surveyor with come from a civil engineering or groundworks background with a solid quantity surveying background. Quantity Surveyors with highways or RC structures experience would be an advantage for the role. The Quantity Surveyor will be managing the resources of a project lifecycle in order to ensure it achieves success of the project outcome and maximise profit provide planning, provision and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Manager and the project delivery team, pursuing own professional development and provide guidance and support to develop other commercial staff, showing competency in all commercial duties from contract negotiation to procurement, variations, valuations, payments to final accounts.
