Our client, a leading global engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Hanford Vit Plant Project Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Richland, Washington

Pay: Starting at $41/h (negotiable) + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering design for HLW electrical systems and equipment.
Utilize SETROUTE, BlockDraw, and ETAP for HLW design.
Interpret and apply codes & standards for electrical design documents.
Perform equipment and cable sizing calculations.
Conduct checking, special tasks, and calculations as required.

Requirements

BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
9+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
Experience with ETAP and industry-wide electrical system design tools.
Knowledge of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards.
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge.
