Role: Payroll Executive

Location: Bedford

Hours: Monday to Friday flexible times 40 hrs pw

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an experience Payroll Executive to be part of a dedicated team in Bedford.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be organised and methodical in your approach; and have the ability to work towards deadlines and prioritise your workload.

What will you be doing in the Payroll Exec role?

  • Oversee and follow the company payroll processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain the payroll information by collecting, calculation and entering data
  • Manage the auto-enrolment pension process for all employees.
  • Administer pension re-enrolment.
  • Process pension refunds.
  • Prepare and submit P11D.
  • Process and reconcile monthly benefits reports such as Medicash, AXA Health insurance.
  • Reconcile wages, NI, and pension accounts.

What we would like from you:

  • Previous Payroll experience
  • Good all round HMRC knowledge – PAYE tax, NI, SMP etc
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Confident user of Excel, Vlookup, PIVOT tables.
  • Ability to work confidentially and discreetly.
