Corporate Tax Senior -Hybrid- BirminghamPosition Overview

My client, a Top 40 accountancy firm in Birmingham, is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing tax practice. This role offers excellent progression opportunities within a respected regional firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients across various sectors
  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns
  • Handle tax provisions and group tax calculations
  • Assist with tax advisory projects and planning opportunities
  • Support managers with technical research and client proposals
  • Provide guidance to junior team members
  • Maintain client relationships and handle client queries
  • Identify additional service opportunities within existing clients
  • Stay current with tax legislation changes and updates
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Ideally ATT qualified and/or studying towards CTA
  • Minimum 3 years' corporate tax experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
  • Experience with tax software (Alphatax preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with tax advisory work would be advantageous
