Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts to support key business decisions.
- Analyse financial data and provide insight into business performance, highlighting key trends and variances.
- Oversee the monthly close process and ensure proper accounting treatment of financial transactions.
- Manage the preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for senior management.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and review with senior management.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
