Exciting Opportunity: Administrator – Estates/Facilities Provision Salary: £12.83 - £14 per hour including holiday pay

Role Type: Temporary 

Location: Birmingham – Longbridge  

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to work at one of the largest colleges in Birmingham as an Administrator for the Estates/Facilities area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and operational.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrator or in a similar role.
  • Experience within a college or educational environment
  • Experience within the Estates/Facilities team or an understanding of how this area of a business
  • Experience in compliance
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
