We are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Director to join a dynamic and growing organisation. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee and provide expert legal support on a variety of areas such as commercial contracts, construction, compliance, regulatory, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with experience managing legal matters across various sectors. You will work closely with senior leadership, business teams, and external stakeholders, advising on risk and legal strategy and ensuring that the organisation's contractual arrangements comply with relevant law and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal guidance on a range of commercial contracts, including negotiating, drafting, and interpreting agreements.
  • Support construction-related legal matters, including advising on contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Offer strategic legal advice to senior leadership and key stakeholders to support the organisation's objectives.
  • Identify legal risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in commercial contracts and ideally construction/litigation law.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
