We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide one-on-one support to a Year 6 pupil with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) at our primary school in Bishop's Stortford. The successful candidate will work closely with the student to facilitate their learning and ensure they can fully access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to the Year 6 pupil with EDS, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement personalised learning plans.
  • Monitor and report on the pupil's progress, ensuring their physical comfort and safety during school hours.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an LSA, particularly in supporting pupils with physical disabilities or medical conditions, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
