Our clients’ business has been established for many years providing first class products and service to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to employ a Full Time Sales Office Advisor to join their successful and expanding team.

Working in an office environment you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships and accounts. The role is a mix of both telephone sales and account management. You will be contacting both current clients and new prospects and re-establishing relationships with lapsed clients.

The calls you will be making will predominantly be generated through 'warm’ leads but you must not be averse to cold calling, so an excellent telephone manner coupled with previous sales experience is a must.

Building/Roofing product knowledge would be an advantage but not essential as a full training package will be provided tailored to the individuals preferred method of learning.

Core Functions:

  • Promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
  • Introduce additional products lines to existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide first class customer service.
  • When require visit Customers and attend Trade shows.
  • Develop rapport with existing & prospective customers.
  • Manage customer accounts ensuring all communications are up to date.
  • Proactively follow up leads generated.
  • Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific customers/industry sectors.
  • Reporting directly to the senior sales director.

Candidate Requirements

  • The ideal candidate would be tenacious and organised.
  • Have a minimum of 12 months office-based sales experience.
  • Have great interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently using their own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own time efficiently and pro-actively.
  • Have a full UK driving Licence
