Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess Spanish lessons that align with the national curriculum and school requirements.
Develop engaging, interactive, and dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Help students improve their proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish.
Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide constructive and actionable feedback to support students' academic growth.
Work collaboratively with the school's language department to promote the success of Spanish education.
Participate in school events, meetings, and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of all students at all times.
Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications: A degree in Spanish or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).

Experience: Prior experience teaching Spanish at the secondary school level is highly desirable not essential.

Skills:

Strong command of the Spanish language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A deep understanding of Spanish culture and the ability to integrate cultural aspects into lessons.
Ability to teach Spanish across a wide range of age groups and abilities, from beginners to advanced learners.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
Passionate about Spanish language education and helping students succeed.
Adaptable and proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team.
Creative and enthusiastic in making lessons engaging and motivating for students.
