CMC Consulting are currently working with an established and market leading business who are looking to expand their growing finance team!Our Client are in search of rounded finance professional who is looking to utilise and develop their expertise in order to provide useful financial support to the team.Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee a small team ensuring all finance transactions are completed accurately and timely
- Complete monthly management accounts alongside insightful commentary to analyse business performance
- Be the point of contact for banking relationships and ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations
- Proactively assess current processes and procedures, implementing improvements
- Maintain a robust control environment ensuring approvals process is followed for payments and expenses
- Manage relationships with the external payroll provider to ensure seamless payroll processing.
- Be key point of contact for auditors at year end and ensure HMRC returns are completed timely
- Maintain overall responsibility for the general ledger as well as revenue, receivables, and payables cycles.
Skills & Experience
- Senior finance experience, ideally reporting directly to a Managing Director
- Qualified ACCA / CIMA or QBE
- Rounded software / IT skills
- Experience within an SME / Start-up is desirable
