Role: School Administrator

Location: Bournemouth - BH8

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000

Hours: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Are you an organised and detail-orientated administrator looking for a rewarding role in an education setting? We’re seeking a School Administrator to join a dedicated, close-knit team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting students, staff external agencies in a specialist education environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing key administrative tasks, including organising student reviews and maintaining accurate records

  • Supporting the Special Educational Needs (SEND) team with paperwork, meetings and communication with parents/carers

  • Organising and preparing annual Reviews and three-monthly reviews for new students

  • Acting as a key point of contact for staff, students, local authorities and external agencies

  • Assisting with reception duties, answering calls and responding to general enquiries

  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including managing data entry and support school transport coordination

  • Providing direct support to the Lead SENCO and overseeing data entry on the Behaviour Watch system

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEND)

  • Experience with the annual review process

  • Administration qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the SEND framework

  • Previous experience in an educational setting
