Sonic Summary
- Global IT Services Firm is seeking a permanent WAN Network Architect for their Bracknell team, operating on a hybrid basis with at least 3 days in the office.
- The position requires SC Clearance, and candidates must either hold active clearance or be eligible for it.
- The salary for this role ranges from £65,000 to £70,000, along with a car allowance and bonus.
- Candidates should have strong technical networking knowledge, relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Juniper JNCIS-ENT, and experience in WAN routing technologies.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical leadership within a project and responsible for the network design and
configuration documentation, including passing through any governance reviews, and will
provide hands on technical configuration/implementation support.
- Design experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from global network vendors such
as Cisco and Juniper, including production of summary architecture documents, high level
and low-level design documentation.
- Strong technical networking knowledge coupled with Network Certifications - Cisco
CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT
- WAN routing (MPLS, BGP, ISIS, Juniper, JUNOS operating system).
- Understanding of encryption overlays such as IPSec, GRE and hardware encryption would be
beneficial.
