RGB Recruitment are delighted to be working with a reputable sub-contractor in search for an Estimator join the team on a permanent basis!
Your responsibility is to deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive estimates playing a critical role in the pre-contract stage, providing detailed and accurate cost assessments!

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives
  • Detailed cost breakdowns, covering labour, materials, equipment, and overheads
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to assess costs, risks, and resource needs
  • Support pre-contract discussions and negotiations, acting as a key contributor in client meetings and tender reviews
  • Conduct market analysis to stay updated on pricing trends, material costs, and labor rates
  • Identify and assess risks associated with project delivery, proposing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate estimations
Requirements:
  • For this role, you must have estimating experience with construction/civil engineering, scaffolding desirable
  • Knowledge of scaffolding design, construction methodologies, and relevant UK safety regulations
  • Construction related degree
  • Qualification in temporary works coordination or scaffolding-specific certification would be an advantage
  • IT literate including Microsoft 365, Excel, CDM
  • Relevant driving licence
