Your new company
Bristol Magistrates' Court is located in the city centre of Bristol, carrying out criminal cases to youth cases. You will be working within the Amey team. Please see below some more information on Amey and what they do.

In your new role as financial administrator, your main duties include the following:

  • Raising of Purchase Orders
  • Receipting Invoices
  • Managing the Parked Report and WIA on SAP
  • Updating Finance Tracker and maintaining
  • Liasing with the commercial team to uplift Purchase Orders
  • Spreadsheets
  • Month End & AFP Process
  • Working on our concept system - assigning jobs, allocating resources and closing down
  • Inputting jobs on our Maintenance Tracker and sending Ref numbers to Amey Sub-contractors
  • Scanning & Filing
  • Completing Inductions - Amey & Client
  • Minute Taking as and when required
  • Keeping notice boards up to date for First Aid, Emergency Arrangements and so on
  • Arrange contractor call-outs as and when required
  • Taking calls in to the office
  • Ordering


Full-time - 37.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday - 9am-5pm (30 mins unpaid break)

12.51 per hour, plus holidays

This is a temporary to permanent position.

No parking on site (Only available in emergency cases).


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must be experienced at using Excel, Word and Formulas. Experience in administration and/ or financial roles is required, with a great attitude towards learning and good communication skills. You will be required to undergo a basic DBS check and provide a minimum of 2 references (Ideally your 2 most recent employers).
