Senior Practice Accountant
- Full-time (37 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory financial statements
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
- Preparation of management accounts and tax projections
- Preparation and review of VAT returns and client bookkeeping
- Monitoring and analysing client financial data
- Providing excellent customer service and nurturing client relationships
- Training and supporting junior accountants
- Assisting with key tax planning for clients
- Staying up to date with continuous professional development
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA part qualified/qualified accountant or AAT with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in practice
- Extensive experience in a large accountancy practice
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (FRS 102 Section 1A knowledge is important but not essential)
- Basic VAT knowledge and understanding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in cloud accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
