- The school is housed in a purpose built, brand new, state of the art building.
- The school caters primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs but also for children with autism who have moderate learning needs
- There are up to 50 children aged 8 to 16.
- The school aims to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience
- The school offers all staff lots of support to succeed.
- The school also offers in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals
About the Role - SENCO - Bristol, South Gloucestershire
- You'll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- You'll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem
- You will need to be resilient and dedicated
- This school is looking for an experienced SENCO.
- The relevant qualifications are ideal but not essential.
- You must have recent experience as a SENCO in either a primary or secondary school or SEN school.
- There may be an opportunity for a TLR post passing probation which can be discussed at a later stage
- Full training will be offered
- You will receive full school holidays
