Long - Term teachers are working with a specialist school in Bristol, who support students at primary level with SEMH and complex learning needs. They also have another site, also located in Bristol, that support SEMH students at secondary level.
We are seeking a teacher to join on a full time basis, within a permanent placement. It is desirable that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), however we will be open to hear from applicants who hold other educational qualification and have extensive SEN experience.
The school holds places for 80 pupils, meaning classroom sizes are small, this will allow you to build trusting rapports with all of the students. You will be supported in the class by experienced teaching assistants, who can support with activity prep and managing behaviours. Within the role, you will be expected to plan and mark lessons, you will work closely alongside the Senior Leadership team to ensure lessons are inclusive and engaging. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver lessons through a fun, patient approach.
