About the Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of this company's projects. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing the overall cost of the projects, preparing detailed cost plans and budgets, and assessing any compensation events or variations in scope of work.

You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting regular interim payment applications, acting as a liaison between the contractor, client, and other stakeholders, and providing clear and accurate cost reports and updates.

The Quantity Surveyor position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including a 2 million TSC Contract and a 6.5 million Fence Power Upgrade project.



Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this Quantity Surveyor role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, cost management, and variation management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed cost plans, budgets, and financial reports
  • Ability to identify and manage project risks that may affect cost and schedule
  • A recent basic DBS check and the ability to achieve Security Clearance level
