E Commerce Specialist Caerphilly £35,000 per annum

Yolk Recruitment are currently partnered with a growing and dynamic local business to support in their search for an E Commerce Specialist. If you have a passion for enhancing online customer experiences, driving e-commerce performance, and using data-driven insights to optimise digital platforms, then this could be the role for you!

This role is perfect for a proactive and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of website performance, product onboarding, and UX improvements. If you have experience in e-commerce platforms, digital merchandising, and user journey analysis-read on!

As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will play a vital role in optimising the online shopping experience and boosting website performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the website, including uploading products, descriptions, images, and technical documentation.
  • Analysing customer journeys using Google Analytics (GA4) to identify pain points, improve conversion rates, and optimize the checkout process.
  • Working closely with an external web development agency to implement UX best practices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure website functionality.
  • Reviewing and optimising website performance, including online merchandising strategies to enhance engagement, dwell time, and average order value (AOV).
  • Collaborating with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

To thrive in this E-Commerce Specialist role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working with and managing external web agencies.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify website improvements and optimise the user journey.
  • Attention to detail and an understanding of SEO, digital merchandising, and UX best practices.
