Quality Engineer
Location: Near Camberley, Surrey
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000
Initially this is a 6-month contract but can be on a PAYE basis.
Our client is located near Camberley, Surrey and are looking for a seasoned Quality Engineer. Initially this is a 6-month contract but can be on a PAYE basis. Salary is from £40,000 to £55,000.
Quality Engineer Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct process and product audits and ensure CAPA is determined and implemented.
- Oversee non-conforming product – maintaining records, investigations, Root Cause Analysis (8D, Ishikawa, 5 why) & CAPA
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to ISO 9102 and customer requirements
- Participate in PFMEA and create Quality Control Plans
- Act as arbiter on quality issues
- Provide quality support to production and inspection.
Quality Engineer Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Excellent Communication skills (oral and written)
- In depth understanding of AS9100
- experience in Quality
- Lead Auditor (ISO 9100) would be advantageous.
- Hands on experience with Visual Fair software
- IT literate (windows and 365)
- Detail orientated.
