The Role:
As a Finance Officer, you will:
- Handle daily processing activities, including international payments, purchase invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct month-end process reviews.
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts.
- Review cash flow and produce monthly board packs with commentary.
- Manage VAT returns and prepare year-end audit information.
- Analyse financial performance and advise management on financial decisions.
The Candidate:
The ideal Finance Officer will:
- Have experience in crafting financial strategies and working collaboratively within a finance team.
- Be well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in month-end close activities and process improvements.
- Possess a proactive attitude and bring new ideas to drive business growth.
- Be familiar with budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
