Spinwell is recruiting for a Parking Processing Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARKING PROCESSING MANAGER

  • To manage the delivery of the Councils parking processing functions, including:
  • Developing and managing efficient and effective processes for penalty charge recovery and permit issue, and ensuring that all representations, appeals, complaints and FOIs are processed in accordance with current policy.
  • Understanding and responding to work volumes to ensure adequate staff cover arrangements and the provision of exceptional customer service.
  • Undertaking budget monitoring and management, including analysis of income and expenditure and the preparation of reports.
  • Undertaking performance monitoring and management, maintaining positive working relationships internally and externally and taking responsibility for staff development
  • Prepare, develop, and monitor contract documents, policies and procedures taking the required action and recommended improvements in service delivery where appropriate.
  • To hold regular meetings with Stakeholders, carry out 1:1 and performance review meetings.
  • Assisting with the management of the wider Parking Team by contributing to the development of policies and processes, ensuring that all functions are coordinated, and deputising for the Parking
  • Business Manager when required.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in a way that promotes the vision and values of the Council.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PARKING PROCESSING MANAGER

  • A good standard of education, including a minimum of 5 GCSE (or equivalent) at grade 4-9 or above including English and Maths
  • Full driving license
  • It is essential that candidates have a parking environment background, specialising in the back-office functions of the processing and recovery of Penalty Charge Notices and issuing of Parking permits.
  • Must have office management experience.
