GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a passionate and progressive legal firm in Cheltenham who specialise in a multitude of Legal services. We are recruiting an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor in Family Law to join their ambitious team on a full time, permanent basis.

The position is office-based, working 37.5 hours per week, and offers a highly competitive salary. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding firm that is renowned for providing excellent service to clients.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or a Chartered Legal Executive with at least 8 years’ PQE and substantial experience in family law. This role will suit a highly accomplished Senior Associate looking to further their career with a reputable firm.

Senior Associate Solicitor (Family Law) main duties:

  • Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of family law matters
  • Provide strategic advice and solutions to clients based on their unique situations
  • Help with the ongoing training and development of junior colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the team and wider business in a friendly, supportive and sociable work environment

Senior Associate Solicitor (Family Law) desired skills and experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in family law
  • 8 years PQE + (although this does not preclude applicants with more or less experience)
  • Desire and skill to undertake own advocacy
  • Leadership and mentoring skills desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to strengthen client network and undertake business development tasks.
