We are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established multi-office law firm who are looking to attract a Personal Injury Lawyer / Fee Earner to join their successful Claimant Personal Injury team in Coventry.

The role will involve:

  • Managing your own Claimant Personal Injury caseload including road traffic accident claims, holiday claims, and claims relating to accidents at work and sports injuries
  • Handling new and existing claims, including litigated matters
  • Meeting face to face with clients and potential witnesses
  • Attending Court hearings
  • Liaising with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals to assist with each claim
  • Preparing and drafting documents, briefs, instructions, and schedules
  • Valuing claims and dealing with settlement negotiations

Suitable candidates will have:

  • 3 years’+ work experience as a Personal Injury Fee Earner
  • Experience of handling RTA, EL and PL claims
  • Experience of dealing with high value claims
  • Knowledge of Conditional Fee Agreements
  • Experience of dealing with pre-litigated and litigated claims
  • Experience of using the MOJ portal
  • Excellent communication skills and client care skills

This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexible hours are available two days per week (8am to 4pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm) if desired. Home working is accommodated one day per week. Reduced hours may also be considered for suitably experienced candidates.
