Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra assistance with their learning.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure tailored learning plans are followed and adapted as needed.
  • Help the student engage with the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist in classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Regularly monitor and report on the students progress to the class teacher.
  • Foster the students confidence, independence, and social skills within the school community.

You will need:

  • Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), relevant to working with children.
  • Proven experience working with children one-on-one in a school or similar setting (with references available).
  • A minimum of two references, ideally including at least one from a school or educational setting, covering the past two years.
