Justteachers is seeking a kind, compassionate, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful primary school in Coventry, starting after Easter 2025. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students learning and development within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra assistance with their learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure tailored learning plans are followed and adapted as needed.
- Help the student engage with the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
- Assist in classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Regularly monitor and report on the students progress to the class teacher.
- Foster the students confidence, independence, and social skills within the school community.
You will need:
- Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), relevant to working with children.
- Proven experience working with children one-on-one in a school or similar setting (with references available).
- A minimum of two references, ideally including at least one from a school or educational setting, covering the past two years.
