Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
- Perform deliveries and collections in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Complete relevant paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle checks.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks before and after each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience in HGV driving, preferably in express freight or delivery services.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
