Disaster Recovery Business Analyst (DORA Regulation)
London Hybrid: 2 Days p/w in Office

As a trusted recruitment partner to this global banking group, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a specialism in Disaster Recovery to join on contract and support their DORA regulatory compliance uplift programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update policies, procedures, and standards for Disaster Recovery to align with existing traceability matrices.
  • Collaborate with tooling developers to ensure that Disaster Recovery requirements are covered
  • Review and compare Regulatory Technical Standards and Implementation Technical Standards to current requirements and modify them as necessary.
  • Uplift reporting templates to meet DORA regulatory requirements as prescribed in existing traceability matrices.
  • Establish processes for Disaster Recovery as described in DORA and supporting RTS.
  • Complete impact assessments of DORA incident classification using historical incident data to model likely impacts.


Experience & Skills Required

  • The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience supporting financial institutions in delivering regulatory initiatives as a Business Analyst.
  • Demonstrable evidence of working on similar operational resilience projects or regulatory compliance programmes within the financial sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EU DORA Act.
  • Knowledge of Incident Reporting and Disaster Recovery processes and controls.
  • Familiarity with EBA, PRA, ESMA regulations, and operational resilience regulatory requirements a plus
  • Proficiency in ITIL and ServiceNow.
