Your new companyYou will be joining a reputable and award-winning legal firm based in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. They are going through a period of growth and are looking to bring in a new Legal PA to offer wider administrative support to the firm. Your new roleThis is an exciting opportunity to progress your career as a Legal PA. You'll be primarily responsible for providing high-quality and efficient secretarial support to the firm's fee-earning team. Some of the key tasks include:

  • Providing support to partners with the billing process and other key financial tasks
  • Diary management
  • Organisation of meetings and travel
  • Liaise with internal teams to build rapport and good working relationships to best support fee earners
  • Offer general administrative support to several fee earners
  • Complete comprehensive training, ensuring deadlines are met

What you'll need to succeedThe Legal PA role offers fantastic training and development opportunities to support the development of your Legal PA career. You'll be required to take a proactive approach to problems and tasks, staying one step ahead to make the jobs of the fee earners easier. Other experience and characteristics include:

  • Experience working in secretarial support/administration in a comparable environment
  • Previous experience or exposure to billing would be highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience supporting with financial takes (expenses, invoices, POs etc.)
  • General administration skills in a professional, commercial setting
  • An ambitious, hardworking individual who is committed to learning new skills
