Your new companyHays are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable organisation who are looking to appoint an HR Administrator to their team on an ongoing temporary basis.Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for the smooth running of the people function of the organisation. Duties will include:* Managing the recruitment processing including drafting of job descriptions, drafting and placement of job adverts, co-ordinating interviews, accommodation, travel expenses, obtaining references and completing safeguarding checks and preparing and issuing appointment letters and employment contracts* Maintaining information held on the HR database* Maintaining personnel records* Recording all sickness and absence, and to facilitate return to work interviews with line managers* In collaboration with the Leadership Team, maintain and review the appraisal scheme, and monitor implementation* Maintaining and reviewing the Induction and Probation processes, and record compliance* Maintaining a record of development and training requirements and updating policies and procedures;What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be an experienced HR professional ideally with CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience in a similar role. You will also need excellent up to date knowledge of HR practice and employment law, a knowledge and understanding of databases, the ability to enter information accurately and to manipulate data held and be well organised and able to prioritise as necessary and to multitask.What you'll get in return
