Our Camberley-based client is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Junior Account Manager to join their growing team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the senior account management team with day-to-day account activities. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organised, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
- Support senior account managers in maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, providing updates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management.

Account Support:
- Help manage client accounts, ensuring that projects and tasks are executed on time and within budget.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports for clients.
- Track client projects and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met.

Sales and Business Development Support:
- Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Assist in developing strategies to upsell and cross-sell services/products to clients.
- Help prepare sales pitches and presentations for new clients.

Administrative and Operational Tasks:
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, invoicing, and managing account budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client communications, meetings, and projects.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, calls, and presentations with clients.

Market Research and Reporting:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry best practices to support account management efforts.
- Prepare reports for internal teams and clients, tracking the status of projects, budgets, and timelines.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, product, customer support) to ensure the client’s needs are met.
- Coordinate with the product and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate service/product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in account management, customer service, or a similar role (internships or entry-level roles are acceptable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop within the account management field.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
