Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Duration: Ongoing until end of 2025

Working Pattern: Full Time Monday to Friday shift patterns between 7am - 6pm

Hourly Rate: £13- £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Professional Communication: Promptly and professionally answer phone calls, creating a positive first impression for customers.
Logistics Coordination: Organise collections, transit routes, and deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Event Tracking: Maintain up-to-date event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments.
Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations and Imports departments to ensure timely arrivals in accordance with SLAs.
Customer Updates: Provide timely updates to customers about any exceptions or issues.
Documentation Management: Request and record all Proof of Deliveries from relevant agents.
Discrepancy Reporting: Report all discrepancies to management for swift resolution.
Quote Provision: Provide accurate and clear quotes to customers upon request.
Email Management: Monitor and respond to emails for the Service Centre promptly.
Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

We are looking for someone who embodies the following qualities:

Logistics Experience: Some experience in dispatching or vehicle allocation is a plus.
Respectful Communicator: Treats people with respect in all interactions.
Customer-Focused: Responds promptly to the needs of customers and suppliers, ensuring all requests are met.
Time Management: Ensures all jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales.
Proactive Problem Solver: Takes the initiative to suggest service delivery improvements to management.
Skilled Listener: Understands and empathises with customers, recognising the context of their needs.
Self-Motivated: Works well with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and dedication.
