Job Title: Highways Supervisor
 
Location: Surrey, UK
 
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
 
Are you a Highways Supervisor with experience on planned and reactive maintenance contracts, and looking for a new opportunity?
 
My client are a civil engineering company with high profile clients and a busy workload within the highways maintenance sector.  They specialise in services that include surfacing and drainage works and provide solutions within both the public and private sector, and are actively seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to join the growing team in Surrey.
 
Responsibilities of the Highways Supervisor:
·Supervise term maintenance contracts - including resurfacing and minor civils
·Ensure HSE principles are adhered to
·Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
·Communicate with internal teams and other stakeholders
·Problem solve any issues
·Record and monitor project progress
·Monitor schedules and budgets
 
Requirements of the Highways Supervisor:
·Demonstrable experience supervising term maintenance contracts
·Working knowledge of the highways sector
·Excellent communication skills
·SMSTS and NRSWA
·Willing to work weekends when required
·Happy to work within the South of England
 
Package of the Highways Supervisor:
·Competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum
