Harvey John are working with a small and collaborative accountancy practice who are looking for Client Manager to join their team in Guildford.
The firm are experiencing exciting organic growth and in order to accommodate this, a new position has been created to add extra capacity to the team. Their client base is predominantly small business who prepare accounts under FRS105.
This well-established team have fantastic processes in place in order to service their client-base. As such, at manager-level their roles are review-only with responsibility for managing client relationships.
Day-to-day:
- Looking after a portfolio of clients and being their day-to-day contact for queries
- Review of work prepared by junior team members including year-end accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Collaborating with other team members to produce a seamless service to their client-base
To succeed in this role:
- AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE
- Extensive experience being client-facing and looking after a portfolio
- Confident reviewing the work of others
- Strong understanding of accounts prepared under FRS105 and both business and personal tax
