Our amazing client is looking for an Administration Assistant to join their busy team based in Halesowen. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation within their office, providing support to various departments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Raising purchase requisitions
  • Obtaining and entering factory & site timesheet information
  • Monitoring of office supplies including consumables, stationery & any other ad-hoc items
  • Booking staff accommodation & making travel arrangements
  • Ensuring site diaries are completed by site staff
  • Assisting with internal and external company audits
  • Assisting with office inductions for staff and visitors
  • Updating of building signage/documentation annually
  • Using various software packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Chrome & SharePoint
  • Administration of the FSD SharePoint site
  • Assisting Design team with any administration not limited to printing, filing, and issuing
  • Assisting Document Control with any administration not limited to printing, filing and contacting external sources to obtain outstanding items
  • Assisting Procurement by obtaining external up to date documentation
  • Other general office duties not limited to data entry, filing, laminating, shredding, photocopying and scanning

Person specification:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role
  • English (required)
  • IT literate (required)
  • Office experience (1 year preferred)
  • Customer service (1 year preferred)
  • Office 365 (1 year preferred)
