Business Development Manager FTC Job Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and driving sales for the company's subcontract precision-engineered machined components. This is a remote role, and while part-time hours are preferred, full-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Business: Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers in the defence and nuclear industries who would benefit from precision-engineered components.
  • Build and Manage Relationships: Develop long-lasting relationships with existing clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Generation: Utilise your network and industry knowledge to bring in new business leads and manage the sales process from lead to closure.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement a business development strategy that targets key sectors, with a focus on gas & oil, pharmaceutical, defence, and nuclear.
  • Showcase Services: Present and demonstrate the benefits and features of the company's services and products to potential clients.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites as necessary (with travel allowance provided).
Business Development Manager FTC Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Existing network of contacts within the defence and nuclear industries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
