  • Internal Sales Executive position selling a range of timber products such as hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, insulation, hardware and tools
  • Selling to contractors, housebuilders, developers, timber merchants, builders merchants, joinery manufacturers and trade
  • Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
  • Processing orders and making cold calls with a focus on generating new business
  • Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
  • Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships
  • Supporting with general requirements for the branch and wide sales team

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Timber Products with:

  • Must have sales experience within the construction industry
  • Ideally will have experience dealing with timber, joinery, furniture or aligned product ranges
  • Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Pro-active approach to generating new business
