Join our growing team as a Project Support Officer, where you'll be integral to the daily administrative functions within the Housing Team.Key Responsibilities:1. Organise and Support Project Teams: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure completion of agreed actions. Manage and update project management documents such as the PID, Project Plan, and Risk Register.2. Draft Resident Communications: Create newsletters, posters, personal letters, web pages, social media posts, and meeting notices. Ensure complex information on rehousing and housing development issues is easily understandable. Book meeting facilities within and outside the council.3. Coordinate Resident Communication: Liaise between different service areas within Housing, such as Asset Management and Resident Services, and external bodies like contractors and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.4. Run Consultation/Information Events: Organise events for specific projects, involving residents and councillors, to maximise attendance. Maintain up-to-date project information using various channels, including new web-based consultation platforms.5. Resolve Issues and Complaints: Address customer and stakeholder issues, enquiries, and complaints, which may be complex and contentious, in a timely and effective manner.6. Produce High-Quality Documents: Create documents with high accuracy and presentation standards, obtaining contributions from other council officers within agreed timescales.Experience and Skills:" Knowledge of Housing Development: Understanding the housing development process and the concerns of various resident groups." Customer Service Excellence: Strong grasp of excellent customer service requirements relevant to this role." Health and Safety Awareness: Awareness of health and safety issues in office settings, off-site locations, and during consultation events." Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in delivering good customer service." Data Handling: Experience in compiling, interpreting, presenting, and reporting accurate information." Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers." IT Proficiency: Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases, to present complex information in understandable formats." Record Keeping: Ability to make accurate records of meetings and events." Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for recording meetings, engaging with colleagues and residents, writing reports, and making presentations to various audiences."
