End-to-end management of a variety of healthcare events, on a global scale, for a company whose purpose is improving thousands of lives on a daily basis… As an Event Manager, could it get much better than that?

An international medical devices organisation with a strong foothold in the UK, US and other global markets are looking for an Event Manager to join an established 10 strong marketing department. You will take responsibility for all things events, from that first-stage of event planning to the final on the day event management, and everything in between. This is an important role for this business, with a lot of collaboration across various business departments, working closely with the Senior Management Team and the CEO.

About You:

  • 4+ years in Event Management or a similar position.
  • B2B experience preferable.
  • A track record in end-to-end management of successful events, on a small and large scale.
  • Healthcare / Medical events experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience managing international events preferred but not essential.
  • Confident communication skills, able to work and lead multiple departments and project teams. Whilst often reporting into / working directly with the CEO and senior management level.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills. Able to work autonomously on smaller projects and in collaboration with colleagues for larger event projects simultaneously.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • End-to-end management of a full mix of exhibitions and events, including association run, company run, smaller scale, larger scale, national and international etc. An average of 75-80 events are attended / run throughout the year, offering an exciting range of variety.
  • Autonomously managing smaller projects and working in collaboration with wider departments and internal stakeholders on larger event projects.
  • Utilising and planning 3 Events budgets, targeted on different business objectives.
  • Working across various teams to ensure smooth operation of Events, with typical event management tasks including getting sales / marketing collateral, transport and logistics, event admin, budget management, team organisation and leadership etc.

Where You'll Be Based:

As Events Manager you'll need to be able to attend the West Yorkshire based office 2 days a week in general. Due to location you will likely need to commute by car with the office accessible from Leeds, Manchester, Wakefield, Bradford, and Huddersfield.

This is a full-time 5 day per week role with flexibility over start and finish times to suit.
